Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Our day begins with a flight to Kilimanjaro, in the heart of Tanzania. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel to rest after the long journey and prepare for the unique experiences that lie ahead.

Overnight stay: Arusha

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Your day begins with a road transfer to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, offering you the chance to enjoy the beautiful drive before arriving at Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s most impressive parks. In the morning and afternoon, you will embark on a game drive, seeking out the magnificent animals that call this park home, such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, and many other incredible wildlife species. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population, towering baobab trees, and large herds of animals like giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras.

Day 3: Serengeti – Big Five watching​

After enjoying breakfast, your guide will pick you up to begin the grand journey into the heart of the Serengeti.

As you travel through the enchanting African countryside, the landscape gradually unfolds into the endless plains and dramatic skies that make the Serengeti truly one-of-a-kind. The drive itself is an experience—filled with anticipation and stunning views at every turn.

The goal of the day: a thrilling search for the Big Five—lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo.

Day 4: Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari​

Kick off your adventure early with a thrilling safari in the legendary Serengeti National Park, accompanied by a seasoned guide who brings the wild to life.

Roam across the park’s iconic savannahs, on the lookout for the majestic rulers of the wilderness—lions basking in the sun, elusive leopards, towering elephants, powerful buffalo, and a dazzling variety of wildlife that makes the Serengeti a bucket-list destination for nature lovers.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Park, winding through rolling green hills and sweeping panoramas that will take your breath away at every turn.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Safari​

The first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater from above is a view that stays in your memory forever. Starting early in the morning, you’ll set out to spot lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos, and many more species in a landscape that feels almost otherworldly. During the day, you’ll also visit a traditional Maasai village, where you can experience their unique way of life, see their homes up close, and learn about their customs and traditions. Afterward, your guide will take you to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s extraordinary adventures.

Day 6: Transfer to Zanzibar

At midday, you’ll catch your flight from Arusha Airport to the stunning and exotic Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Nungwi, one of the island’s most beautiful areas.

Once you arrive, you’ll have the chance to unwind from your journey and enjoy a free day to explore the natural beauty of the region. Relax on the pristine, turquoise beach and soak in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. A day of pure relaxation and breathtaking scenery awaits!

Day 7: Prison Island & Nakupenda Island​

This day is dedicated to exploration and enjoyment, beginning with a visit to the famous Prison Island, where you’ll meet the giant tortoises and discover the island’s fascinating history.

Next, you’ll head to Nakupenda Island (Sandbank), a sandy islet that appears and disappears with the tides, perfect for swimming and savoring fresh seafood.

The day concludes with a stroll through the historic streets of Stone Town, filled with the scents of exotic spices and adorned with unique, ornate wooden doors. It’s a truly unforgettable day, brimming with natural beauty and local culture.

Day 8: Mnemba Island​​

After breakfast, you’ll visit Mnemba Atoll, widely regarded as the best snorkeling spot in Zanzibar. Day 10: Jozani Forest & The Rock Restaurant​​

The day begins with a visit to the lush Jozani Forest, at the heart of Jozani–Chwaka Bay National Park, one of Zanzibar’s most important natural sanctuaries. As you wander along the forest trails, you’ll discover the island’s unique flora and fauna—and if you’re lucky, you may spot the rare red Colobus monkey, a true symbol of Zanzibar.

The experience culminates with lunch at the legendary The Rock Restaurant, an iconic eatery perched atop a rock in the sea, where you can savor your meal with breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

Day 10: Return Flight

The last day in Tanzania is always charged with emotion, as the moment comes to bid farewell to a country that has gifted you once-in-a-lifetime experiences—from exhilarating wildlife safaris to the sun-kissed tropical paradise of Zanzibar.

With unforgettable sights and memories etched in your mind, you’ll make your way to the airport in the early morning for your flight back to Athens, taking with you a piece of this magical land that will remain in your heart forever.
