Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Welcome to Lima and Peru!
Upon your arrival in Lima, our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to our hotel in the most beautiful area of Lima, Miraflores.
Depending on what time you arrive in Lima, there will be free time to relax.

Day 2: Lima to Iquitos (Amazon)
Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Iquitos. From the moment you arrive, your adventure begins to unfold. At the CREA Wildlife Rescue Center, you’ll have the chance to get up close with turtles, manatees, and monkeys as they prepare for their return to the wild.
Next, you’ll board a boat and navigate the mighty Amazon River, making your way to a lodge immersed in nature. Later, the Yanayaco River, with its mirror-like black waters, offers a truly enchanting experience. The day concludes with a delightful Amazonian dinner by torchlight—a perfect ending to a day filled with unforgettable sights and emotions.

Day 3: Iquitos (Amazon)
The day begins before sunrise with a serene boat ride along the river, searching for birds and the magnificent pink dolphins, accompanied by an experienced guide who knows every sound of the jungle. After breakfast, you’ll visit Monkey Island, where playful monkeys roam freely, approaching with curious charm.
A delicious lunch featuring local flavors made from indigenous ingredients follows, and in the afternoon, your jungle adventure continues deeper into the rainforest, uncovering hidden nests and observing wildlife in its natural habitat. The day concludes with a magical dinner under the starry sky, capping off yet another unforgettable Amazonian experience.

Day 4: Iquitos (Amazon)
After a night lulled to sleep by the sounds of the jungle, enjoy a refreshing breakfast before sailing along the Rio Negro to witness a majestic, centuries-old ceiba tree. Afterwards, return to the village for lunch and a visit to the Chullachaqui Pequeño Eco-Museum, where you’ll encounter mata-mata turtles, caimans, and other rescued wildlife.
As the sun sets, embark on a guided night hike along jungle trails, equipped with special flashlights to spot tarantulas, scorpions, and other nocturnal creatures. The day concludes with a delightful dinner and a restful night in the maloca.

Day 5: Iquitos (Amazon) to Cusco
On your final day, you will bid farewell to the jungle in a truly unique way. You sail to the Yagua village, where the sound of drums greets you before you even step ashore. Entering the maloca, you are swept into dance alongside children and elders, who keep their traditions alive. You admire their handmade crafts, created from seeds and natural dyes, listen to their ancestral language, and smile as they paint your face with achiote, welcoming you into their vibrant culture.
Before departure, you savor one last Amazonian meal, rich with farewell flavors. Then, as you cross the majestic Amazon River, you watch the jungle slowly recede and the city draw near—marking the end of a truly unforgettable adventure.
Next, we will head to the airport for our flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in this enchanting city, our local guide will be there to welcome us. We will then proceed directly to our transfer vehicle for the journey to our hotel in the Sacred Valley, where you can relax and acclimate to the high altitude.
Along the way, we will make a stop at “Manos de la Comunidad”, a South American camelid (llamas, alpacas, etc.) sanctuary and Inca textile center. Here, you can explore and purchase local handicrafts, feed the llamas, and capture unforgettable photos.

Day 6: Sacred Valley – transfer to Aguas Calientes
Early in the morning, we will begin our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an area rich in history and culture. We will visit the town of Pisac and its famous craft market, where we can shop and experience local traditions. After admiring the impressive Pisac archaeological park, we’ll continue along the Vilcanota River, passing through charming villages to Urubamba for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore the Ollantaytambo Fortress and its ancient streets before heading to the train station to board the Expedition Train to Aguas Calientes. This scenic train ride offers stunning views of mountains and lush vegetation. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel to rest before our visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 7: Uncover the Magic of Machu Picchu
Our journey begins as we head towards Machu Picchu, one of the most famous and impressive destinations in the world. Upon reaching the Machu Picchu citadel, the stunning landscapes and majestic Inca architecture will leave us speechless. Every step along the stone pathways and every corner of the citadel reveals a new, breathtaking view. This experience at Machu Picchu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World, is an unforgettable exploration of the past that comes to life before us.
After the visit, we’ll enjoy a meal to regain our energy. We’ll then board the Expedition train, soaking in the enchanting views as we make our way back to Cusco. Our day will conclude with a return to our hotel, filled with memories from an experience that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Day 8: Celebration of the sun in Cusco
Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun, is an extraordinary celebration that brings the ancient Inca traditions to life. Taking place in Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire, this festival honors the Sun God and celebrates the deep connection between people and nature. The festivities begin at Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun) around 9:00 AM, where the opening ceremony and traditional Inca rituals take place, followed by vibrant processions and performances in Plaza de Armas.
Expect vibrant music, traditional dances, and a deep cultural experience. In the afternoon, we will have a fascinating half-day tour of Cuzco with our local guide. We will begin in the iconic Plaza de Armas, and visit the Cathedral. From here, we will walk to the Koricancha Temple, an impressive ancient Inca palace, in honour of the Sun God. Finally, visit the lively San Blas neighbourhood, known for its artists, shops and artisan workshops. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, soaking up the atmosphere of the city and sampling the local cuisine.

Day 9: Rainbow Mountain Optional activity
Option 1: Between 4:00 and 4:20 a.m., our local guide will pick us up from the hotel in Cusco to embark on an incredible adventure to the southern region of the Andes. After a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours, we will reach the town of Cusipata, where we’ll enjoy a delicious continental breakfast at a local restaurant.
We’ll then continue our journey for another 1.5 hours until we reach the famous Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca. We’ll have about 3 hours to explore, admire, and photograph this breathtaking natural wonder.
After the hike, we’ll return to the restaurant in Cusipata to enjoy a hearty and comforting lunch. Finally, we’ll head back to Cusco, arriving in the city around 5:00 p.m., where we will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of a day filled with unique and unforgettable experiences.
Option 2: Free day in Cusco. Cusco, one of the most beautiful towns in the world, offers plenty to explore on your free day. Stroll through the charming streets and squares, where you'll see a mix of Inca and colonial buildings. Visit the Plaza de Armas, home to the impressive Cusco Cathedral and La Compañía de Jesús Church. Take a walk through the artsy San Blas neighborhood, known for its narrow streets, small shops, and galleries. Head to the San Pedro Market for a taste of local food and to find unique souvenirs. For beautiful views of the town, make your way to the Mirador de San Cristóbal for a great perspective of Cusco and the surrounding mountains. If you’re interested in local culture, you can even join a chocolate-making workshop and discover the secrets behind Peruvian chocolate.

Day 10: From Cusco to Lima
After our breakfast, we will take a domestic flight from Cusco to Lima.
We begin our city tour at Huaca Pucllana with a panoramic view of this important ceremonial center belonging to the Lima culture. We head towards the center of Lima, passing through the different neighborhoods of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We will appreciate the Palace of Justice, the Lima Museum, the Museum of Italian Art, the French Palace and the Plaza San Martín. Our pedestrian visit begins in the Plaza de Armas where, in addition to appreciating the Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace. We will also have a panoramic view of the Parque del Amor, the Pacific Ocean and Larcomar.After exploring Lima’s historical and cultural highlights, take the opportunity to savor its world- renowned cuisine. Whether it’s a classic ceviche, a refreshing pisco sour, or a visit to a local market, Lima offers an unforgettable culinary experience.

Day 11: Paracas & Ica
We begin our journey with a transfer from our hotel in Lima to Paracas.
Ballestas Islands Tour: We will board a speedboat at the Tourist Marina Pier for a 2-hour ride. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stunning views of Paracas Bay and its peninsula. Before heading to the Ballestas Islands, we’ll stop to admire the mysterious Paracas Candelabra geoglyph. On the islands, we’ll see Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and a variety of birds like Peruvian boobies and pelicans.
Huacachina Tour: Next, we’ll head to Huacachina, a desert oasis. Our adventure begins with an exciting ride in Polaris ROVs, exploring the golden dunes. Along the way, we’ll stop to sandboard, tackle the steep Patrick dune, and capture photos of the Oasis of America, a paradise in the desert. Afterward, we’ll return to Lima and transfer to our hotel for a restful end to a thrilling day.

Day 12: Return Flight
Free time in the morning in Lima, before the return flight.
