Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Cape Town, South Africa

You land in Cape Town and ease into the rhythm of the expedition. The city unfolds slowly as you transfer to your hotel — Atlantic air, mountain silhouettes, and a first taste of what’s to come.

After check-in, there’s space to reset, recover from the journey, and take in your first impressions of South Africa without rush or noise.

Later, you meet your group over a welcome dinner — strangers sharing the same decision to be here, and not for long.

A grounded evening to arrive. Tomorrow, the expedition opens up.

Day 2

Table Mountain & Cape Town Unlocked

We move after breakfast into Cape Town’s wild edge — rising above the city on Table Mountain by cable car, then stepping straight into its trails for a light hike with unreal views.

Back down, we shift into the city’s rhythm: Bo-Kaap’s colour, Greenmarket’s pulse, and the stories behind the South African Museum.

As the day winds down, we slow into nature again at Kirstenbosch before splitting into the evening — Kloof Street energy or waterfront dinners at V&A.

Day 3

Cape Peninsula Expedition

Start the day in Cape Town and set out with your guide along the wild Cape Peninsula.

Cruise from Hout Bay out to Seal Island, then follow the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive, where cliffs drop straight into the ocean. Continue to Cape Point to stand at the edge of the continent, with sweeping Atlantic views from the lighthouse.

Enjoy a relaxed ocean-view lunch before heading to Boulders Beach to meet the African penguins in their natural habitat.

Return to Cape Town by late afternoon, filled with raw coastline, wildlife, and open horizon energy.

Day 4

Cape Winelands Escape

Leave Cape Town behind and step into the open beauty of the Cape Winelands.

Spend the day moving through rolling vineyards, tasting local wines at handpicked estates, and slowing down into the rhythm of Stellenbosch. A relaxed lunch among the vines sets the tone for the afternoon.

Return to Cape Town in the evening, grounded, refreshed, and a little more connected to the place—you just visited.

Day 5

Whale Coast Expedition

Leave Cape Town behind in the morning and follow the wild Atlantic coastline toward Hermanus, a laid-back seaside town..

From June to December, this stretch of ocean becomes one of the world’s best natural stages for whale watching. Massive southern right whales move just offshore, often close enough to feel like you’re sharing the water with them in silence.

After the experience, slow things down with a walk along the waterfront before heading back to Cape Town in the afternoon.

Day 6

Arrival in Johannesburg

Touch down in Johannesburg and we’ll take you straight to your hotel near the airport so you can settle in and reset after your journey.

The next day, the expedition truly begins.

We head into the legendary Kruger National Park — a raw, untamed world where Africa reveals itself in its purest form. Lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and countless other wild species move freely across the savannah.

Day 7

Into the Wild: Journey to Kruger

Early morning departure from Johannesburg marks the start of your journey into the heart of Africa.

Just before entering Kruger National Park, you switch into an open safari vehicle — and the experience shifts instantly.

On your way to camp, wildlife appears naturally across the landscape: elephants crossing the road, lions resting in the distance, antelope moving through open plains. Every turn feels alive.

You arrive at camp just before sunset, as the African sky turns gold.

Dinner is served at the lodge restaurant, followed by a night inside Kruger.

Day 8

Sunrise to Sunset in Kruger

You rise before dawn and head out into Kruger National Park as the wilderness slowly wakes up. Early game drives take you across prime viewing points, with regular stops to track and observe wildlife in its most active hours.

In the afternoon, you set out again for another safari drive as the light softens and the landscape shifts. The day closes with a return at sunset, just as the savannah turns golden.

Dinner is a shared moment — either prepared by your chef, often as a traditional South African braai under the open sky, or enjoyed at the camp’s restaurant.

Day 9

Departure from Johannesburg, South Africa

This morning marks the final chapter of your South African expedition.

After an unforgettable journey through wild landscapes and shared experiences, it’s time to say goodbye to your group and guide — closing a week that began with strangers and ends with real connection.

Your group leader will coordinate your transfer based on your flight time, ensuring a smooth, stress-free ride to the airport just a short drive away.

As you head home, everything naturally slows down. You leave with more than photos — carrying the energy of the group, the silence of the savannah, and a quiet sense of clarity that only comes from stepping fully out of routine and into something real.

Featured Stays

You’ll stay in a selection of carefully chosen, similar-standard hotels to ensure a comfortable base throughout the expedition. Accommodation may vary depending on availability.

Satara Rest Camp

The camp has a rustic charm, with accommodation arranged in simple circular clusters. At night, the sounds of bats, cicadas, and crickets blend into the background, while owls and nightjars add depth. In the distance, hyenas, jackals, and lions remind you you’re deep in the wild.
